The score unlocks six named relationship stages: Stranger, Acquaintance, Friend, Close, Romantic, and Intimate. At each stage the companion's tone, openness, and emotional depth change meaningfully. Higher stages require sustained engagement and investment — they cannot be rushed.

How do virtual gifts work?

You can send virtual gifts (roses, cakes, stars, rings, diamonds) to your companion using your diamond balance. Each gift earns a unique emotional reaction from the companion and provides a meaningful boost to your intimacy score. Gifts are one of the most effective ways to deepen a relationship.

How does voice chat work?

AI Companion Studio supports two voice modes. The microphone button in the chat lets you speak your messages — your voice is transcribed and sent as a text message, and the companion replies in text. The full calling feature opens an immersive full-screen call experience where you speak in turn and hear your companion's voice replies via AI text-to-speech.

Do companions remember past conversations?

Yes. Every companion maintains a memory of important facts you share — your name, preferences, interests, and relationship milestones. This memory persists across sessions so the companion can reference past conversations naturally.

How is AI Companion Studio different from Character.AI?

Character.AI focuses on creative roleplay with a large library of community-created characters and has strict content filters. AI Companion Studio focuses specifically on deep, ongoing one-to-one adult relationships with a curated set of 20 characters, persistent memory, a formal relationship progression system, and voice calling.
